This version was hand-dyed using the cloud technique in ocher: the fabric is irregularly crumpled before dyeing, creating organic spots in shades of dark ocher, olive green, and warm gray that float on a creamy beige background. The result is not the vibrant contrast of other versions—it is something more subtle and earthy, like wet stone, like dust, like the colors left by the sea when it recedes. Each piece has its own unique spots. New versions can be made in this style, knowing that each will have its own geography of tones.

Orilla is the third world of Agua de Sal: the sustaining land, the sand that holds the shape of every footprint.
